One of the most spectacular tarmac rallies on the Swiss motorsport calendar, the Rallye International du Chablais once again provided the perfect stage for both modern Rally2 machinery and historic rally cars. Held on the winding mountain roads of the cantons of Valais and Vaud, the 22nd edition of the event delivered three days of fast, technical and often demanding competition for an international field of crews.

The undisputed star of the weekend was Grégoire Munster. Driving the #1 Hyundai i20 N Rally2, the Luxembourg driver set the pace from the opening stages and eventually secured his first Rallye du Chablais victory with an impressive tally of 13 stage wins. While he did not manage to top every special stage, he remained firmly in control throughout the event and crossed the finish line with an advantage of nearly forty seconds over his closest rival.

Home fans also had plenty to celebrate. Mike Coppens and Christophe Roux guided their Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 to second place overall, while Florian Gonon and Frédéric Hugon completed the podium in another Fabia RS Rally2, ensuring a strong showing for Swiss competitors on home soil.

Rallye International du Chablais – Historic
In the Historic category, it was François Delecour who captured much of the attention. The former World Rally Championship event winner once again demonstrated his class, delivering an entertaining performance and securing victory among the historic competitors on the demanding Swiss mountain stages.

The Rallye du Chablais continues to occupy a special place among Europe’s premier tarmac rallies. Steep mountain roads, rapid changes of rhythm, narrow village streets and breathtaking Alpine scenery combine to create one of the most distinctive events on the calendar. This year was no exception, with thousands of spectators lining the stages as the Chablais region once again showcased why it remains one of Switzerland’s most iconic rally destinations.
